Do I look cheapskate if I change parquet flooring to wood laminate flooring for condo

I quite like wood laminate flooring but I am hesitating to change my current parquet to wood laminate flooring for my condo as I feel it might look cheapskate for condo type of housing.

What do the rest think? Getting a feel.
